But I tend to think that it will stay like it is as the can't change the top because in Islamic architecture, they avert from using straight edges on the top of buildings - in the past it was seen as bad luck or fortune to have jagged edges towards the top of a building, so you’ll find that the roofs of most historic buildings in Islamic countries utilize the ‘dome’ roof.
